Gaststätten sind gastronomische Betriebe wie Restaurants, Biergärten oder Kneipen in denen Getränke und / oder Speisen zum sofortigen Verzehr verkauft werden und der hierzu eine Aufenthaltsmöglichkeit bieten. Häufig ist es durch eine Vielzahl von Stimmen und klapperndes Geschirr sehr laut, was je nach Art der Gaststätte (z.B. Brauhaus oder gediegenes Restaurant) mehr oder weniger störend die Gesamtatmosphäre beeinflusst.
